In the school, he finds the whole of the staff busy in plotting the school's annual drama which is to be performed at the beginning of the new school session. Rahul is surprised that this drama is being staged by the non-Aryan students, and the story revolves around an ancient Bhajan which was composed by a non-Aryan descendant of Lord Rama. As a stage drama, the Bhajan is to be presented in six acts. The climax comes at the end of the play when the school's principal, (Naseeruddin Shah), along with a few students, is depicted as a dishonest priest who commits a fake sacrifice of a bull. The drama team, including Rahul, are blamed for staging a play without the school's permission. They are given the ultimatum of either doing the play or getting kicked out from the school.
The story then takes an abrupt turn. A few days before the day of the play, the drama team is visited by the Principal, who then tells them to complete the play as per their plans. A few days later, during the play, Rahul is arrested for taking a critical look at the performance. He is charged with spying. He is also taken to the school, and the principal demands that he "tell them the truth about him". It is later revealed to Rahul that the play was the last decision of the Principal, as the English teacher. He says that he has a plan in mind to trap the Principal at the end of the drama. When the Principal is about to perform the fake bull sacrifice, he is stopped by the drama team. They enter the Principal's room and tell him that he is to perform the actual sacrifice. The Principal is shocked, as he thinks that he is doing a fake sacrifice, and says that he is getting another bull. The Principal leaves, and the drama team enters the room, and find out that the Principal is actually doing a real sacrifice. The drama team bursts into laughter, as he has been trapped, and the Principal gets angry. He calls them as liars and asks them to leave the school. The drama team is kicked out of the school, as the Principal feels that they have made fun of him. However, the drama team then comes to their rescue, and they decide to complete their play. The drama team tries to stop the principal from sacrificing the bull, but he loses the bull, and he is almost about to cut his own throat. The drama team then kills him with their fists, and find out
