If you are a software developer you can use this software as a normal tool for your work. ECUsafe gives you the possibility to create drivers for ECUsafe devices.

What is ECUsafe?
This is a software tool which allows you to manage engine/powertrain errors and codes.
More information about the use of ECUsafe for engine management can be found at www.ecusafe.org
The original title for the project was "System FOR Engine Management" which was later changed to "ECUsafe" in order to fit the current engine management software market.
How to install ECUsafe?
Go to the folder you saved the package and double click on the ECUsafe-2.0.0.0.exe
If you don't have administrator permission, you can change the permission on the executable to execute.
Choose the run option on the executable.
If it asks to activate, double click on OK.
If the program has a message saying "file not found, check the folder for the file or the data path in the registry", it's not installed correctly. This may happen if the installation was aborted or if you launched the installer without administrator rights.
